This week I was asked to attend an urgent job. The customer was very stressed and in a panic as she had a very strong smell of gas comming from the kitchen area. If a gas leak is minor or large it needs to be treated as a serious matter.
Every home only should know where to shut off their gas incase of an emergency. The shut off valve are located on the left side of gas meter and in most cases has a red handle. Once you have shut off the gas supply, open all your windows and doors to dissipate the gas inside your home. now you can relax and call a plumber.
